Seeing the College change to Emmanuel Christian University and being among the first batch of this great university is a great privilege, an unforgettable testimony and history in my entire life. The journey hasn’t been an easy one. From the years of Covid-19 and the lockdown to the closure of Mount Meru University battling with the voices of the pessimist was not easy. I almost lost hope when my father died but walking with the lecturers, and mentors who demonstrated to us the walk of faith I found the courage and strength to press on despite my challenges. Emmanuel Christian University has instilled in me faith, resilience and confidence to embrace the future with courage and enthusiasm.

2024 graduate,
bachelor of business administration
From the moment that I joined Emmanuel Christian University as a fresh student, I felt welcomed into the vibrant community that prioritizes education, support and respect for women’s development. ECU lecturers are not only educators, they are mentors and life coaches who genuinely care about the success of the learner. They encouraged me to think critically and pushed me to my limits through their rigorous academic teachings and evaluations. As I graduate from Emmanuel Christian University, I am just taking with me a degree but also valuable live lessons, cherished memories and a network of relations with my colleagues, friends, and mentors.

2024 graduate,
bachelor of Arts in theology
When I had completed all my courses in 2022 I was told there was not going to be a graduation. When I requested if I could get my degree, I was told it will only be issued after graduation. I was only given a temporary transcript. I was greatly discouraged. However, I heard that there will graduation in 2024, it was wonderful news for me. It was even greater joy when I learned we will graduate as Emmanuel Christian University. The delays for my graduation has worked out for my good. Glory to Jesus!
